As Coronavirus cases keep arising, drastic changes continue to happen in every school district. Last week the governor of California announced that schools will not reopen in August and will most likely be postponed until late December. Yesterday, CIF announced that the fall sports season will begin in late December and CIF championship games will start in March.
Football is going to have a full 10-week regular season. Their practices will begin Dec. 14, and their games will start Jan. 8, 2021.
Spring sports such as baseball, softball, basketball, soccer, lacrosse, golf, swimming, track, and field, wrestling will start in March and run through late June.
